How to Fight a Cold

What is cold? Which factors causes the common cold?

 

When we have following symptoms runny/stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing, "chills" and a headache & slight fever. Everybody tries to avoid it. But then also it comes. And the most dangerous think is its beginning! First two days body pain and throat gives trouble. If cold occurs frequently then it can change our voice.  In some cases cold damages ear. Can create difficulty in breathing as well as throat can sore.






 

First we will know what causes cold.

 

No doubt that cold is viral disease; it transmits easily from other people.

(Shaking Hands, Door knobs, Cinema Halls, Public places, Common phones, Travel etc.)

There are several viruses causing cold. The most common virus name is known as “Rhino”. This virus goes nose cells and there starts reproduction.  In regular cases our natural immune system speedups blood circulation in vessels through inflammation and boosts mucus creations. These both process causes for runny / stuffy nose. If Rhinovirus goes in lungs cells then starts producing mucus / sticky fluid which we call as cough. The fighting between our blood cells and this virus takes several days. The color of mucus gets changed due to dead cells during fight over the time.  

  

Precautions and preventives:

 

We always say precaution is better than cure. Following are some tips will surely prove helpful:


1.   During winter days while travelling use mask / handkerchief.
2.   Wash your hands with soap for many times.
3.   Avoid touching your hands to your nose and eyes and mouth.
4.   Avoid ice-cream / deep freeze food.
5.   Using turpentine oil a drop or two on your hanky will help you much.

2.   Use salt in glass of medium temperature water to gargle.
3.   Take steam at lest 4-5 times per day.
4.   Drink Luke warm water.
5.   Eat Dry fruits & Chane.
6.   Taking hot soup is also advised.
7.   Use warm cloth in winter.
8. Ginger Tea / Garlic (Lasun) is also helpful. can be taken as per choice.

Human is most intelligent animal in the world. Human has got the only thing which makes him ruler of world is his "BRAIN"
He has invented uncountable things to make his life easier. Other hand Human can destroy this earth.


Our Brain is key to success. We must take care of it. In routine life our work load, personal tensions, family related problems, some diseases, are affecting our sleep. 


If last night anyone couldn't sleep will surely feel dull on next day. Two-Three days or a week's disturbed sleep will breed weakness. But what if he/she can't sleep well for many months? This may cause permanent change in his /her nature. He might suffer from Brain related serious problems. 


Don't even use sleeping pills. Self hypnosis (commanding) is very powerful. If you are having sleep related problems you can learn it's techniques. This will also help you in growing concentration power of your mind.

Improve Your Vision

After crossing 40Yrs of age the common factor has been seen that, most of person got Spectacles / Lences. Comparing to other animals Human sight is very poor. So it is most necessary to take care of our vision.
Agreed that naturally Human sight is not so strong like other animals, but we are alos responsible to making it more weak.

Few factors which are affacting our eye sight :

1. Lack of vitamins, protins & minarals in daily food.
2. Pollution
3. Moving fast on 2 Wheelers or at 4 Wheeler windows with open eyes.
4. Smoke
5. Watching Televission in Hall for long hours.
6. Reading books too closely.
7. Working / Reading / Studing in dark rooms.
8. Working on Computers for many hours.
9. Doing Jobs like Welding / Grinding without necessary safty tools.
10. UV rays.



We can reduce sight problems by taking some basic precautions like bellow:

1. Eat plenty of vegetables & Drink much water.
2. Try to give your body all required Vitamins especially Vitamin 'A', 'D' & 'E'
3. Wash your eyes with pure cold water regularly.
4. Use clean napkins/ hankies.
5. Use safty gaugles / glasses to protect your eyes from dust / smoke.
6. Natural sunlight is best for vision. So try to work in natural light efficient Room.
7. Thoose who work many hours on Computers must look outside the window after some time to release tress.
8. Do some simple eye exercises regularly. ( like, round eye-ball movement, close eyes tightly for some times, look left & right moving only eye-balls etc.)
9. Some natual suppliments are seen useful for eyes: ( Carrot, Sugarcane, Amla. Papaya, Rose Water)
10. Do exercise daily and don't forget to consult your Doctor periodically. 
11. If your are using lences take proper care of your lences. (They may cause for infection)

I] Positive Attitude 

Positive attitude is the main factor behind every success & miracle.
It's very easy to keep positive attitude. You just start with self motivational quote, " I am unique & born to win. God believes in my capabilities that's why there are many obstacles in may path."

II] Body Exercise

Daily exercise improves blood circulations in our body and we feel enthusiastic. Exercise is essential for Mental as well as Physical health.
